The simple solution

 

Aluminium tower internals provide lightweight, simple and cost-efficient solutions that are easy to handle and assemble in wind turbine towers.

 

Due to its lower weight and formability, tower internals in aluminium can be designed with built-in functions and in larger sections, reducing installation costs and simplifying logistics significantly.

 

Aluminium is corrosion-resistant and needs no surface treatment. Therefore, the fabrication time is shorter and installation and repair work are simplified.

 

For these reasons, tower internals in many modern wind turbines are today already made of aluminium.
